KYC & Sanctions Specialist (f/m/d)

In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding our organization by ensuring high-quality KYC and onboarding reviews. Acting as a vital link between AML Compliance and the business/sales teams, you will help ensure regulatory requirements are met while supporting smooth client onboarding. With your proactive mindset and drive for continuous improvement, you will contribute to strengthening our compliance standards and supporting sustainable business growth.

What you’ll do:
- Independently support the onboarding of new clients, including. comprehensive review of KYC documentation in line with regulatory, AML, and risk-related requirements.
- Conduct structured sanctions, PEP, embargo, and high-risk industry screenings.
- Analyze complex corporate and ownership structures, including identification of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).
- Assess and document risks and ensure accurate maintenance of all relevant data in the CRM system.
- Perform periodic and event-driven KYC reviews of existing business partners.
- Review and assess alerts generated by systems such as World-Check or WebShield.
- Investigate internal warning signals and support risk analysis processes.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Risk, Legal, and external partners.
- Lead alignment meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, analyses, and management updates.
Your profile:
- Completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
- Initial professional experience in the banking or credit card sector and/or in AML & KYC.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer and service orientation.
- Comfortable dealing with complex challenges and able to think analytically and in a connected way.
- A strong hands-on and can-do mentality is part of your mindset.
- Discretion, the ability to work independently, and a high sense of responsibility come naturally to you.
- Fluent English skills; German is an advantage.

- Of course, you will receive a competitive remuneration package, which we will be happy to discuss with you personally. For legal reasons we must indicate the minimum gross annual salary, starting at € 40.000,- (full-time). However, we are of course happy to offer you a higher salary based on your professional experience and qualifications.
