As a Product Compliance Analyst, you play a key role in ensuring our payment products stay compliant in a fast-changing regulatory landscape. You interpret payment scheme mandates and regulatory reporting requirements and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for product and development teams. By bridging compliance, product, and technology, you help ensure timely, accurate implementation while enabling innovation and growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze and interpret payment scheme mandates, rule changes, and compliance bulletins (e.g., card schemes, payment networks, industry bodies).
  • Review and assess regulatory reporting specifications and compliance requirements relevant to payment products.
  • Translate complex regulatory and scheme requirements into clear functional and non-functional requirements for development and delivery teams.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, such as Business and regulatory requirements, impact assessments, and gap analyses.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work very closely with Acquiring and Scheme Manager to bridge commercial with technical requirements.
  • Support regulatory change initiatives by assessing impacts on existing products and platforms.
  • Participate in solution design, testing, and validation to ensure regulatory and scheme compliance prior to release.
  • Monitor upcoming regulatory and scheme changes and proactively communicate impacts to stakeholders.

Your profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the payment industry, particularly with cards, or banks for regulatory reporting teams.
  • Proven experience to read technical specification documents and convert them into clear business requirements.
  • Proven experience in product compliance, regulatory analysis, business analysis, or payments operations.
  • Strong knowledge of payment schemes (e.g., card networks, payment rails, clearing & settlement) and regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g. OeNB reporting).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory and technical documentation.
  • Detail-oriented, and solution-focused working style with excellent documentation skills.
  • Adaptable team player with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies in the payment industry and a willingness to continuously learn.
  • B2+ or native German as well as good working-level English.

  • Of course, you will receive a competitive remuneration package, which we will be happy to discuss with you personally. For legal reasons we must indicate the minimum gross annual salary, starting at € 40.000,- (full-time). However, we are of course happy to offer you a higher salary based on your professional experience and qualifications.
