on behalf of the referred service provider to whom you are directing the payment (hereinafter “Merchant”).
Payment Initiation Service
By clicking the button (“PAY” or similar), you explicitly consent to the payment order and instruct DIMOCO to send a payment initiation request to your payment account service provider (i.e. the bank or other institution where you hold your payment account; hereinafter “Your Bank”) via a secure, encrypted connection to initiate the payment order with Your Bank.
You acknowledge and agree that you cannot withdraw or revoke your consent after this moment of consent. After your authorization, the payment order shall be initiated immediately. The actual time of execution of the payment depends on Your Bank and the Merchant’s bank.
Information to be provided by you
To initiate the payment order, you will be required to enter your payment account data (e.g. IBAN) and your personal security credentials to access Your Bank account.
Information provided after the payment transaction
After initiation of the payment order, you will be provided with the following information:
- confirmation of the successful initiation of the payment order with Your Bank;
- a reference enabling you to identify the payment transaction;
- the amount and currency of the payment transaction.
Please note that the receipt of the above information is not a confirmation that the payment has actually been executed. The actual execution of the payment as well as the confirmation of its execution will be done solely by Your Bank. Therefore, as a payment initiation service provider, DIMOCO cannot guarantee or confirm the correct or proper execution of the payment by Your Bank. For any information on the proper execution of the initiated payment or questions in this regard, please contact Your Bank.
Costs and charges
The payment initiation service provided is free of charge for you as a payer. Please note that Your Bank may charge you fees for the execution of the payment transaction (and any of its related functionalities), according to your agreement with your Bank.
Availability
The payment initiation service may be temporarily suspended to resolve technical changes or disruptions, to update the service, to implement changes to relevant laws and/or regulatory requirements, or if there are indications of illegal, fraudulent or unlawful use.
Data processing
To initiate the payment order it is required that information about you and the payment order obtained during the payment process (either directly from you or via the Merchant) is processed for the purpose of initiating the payment order, including the disclosure of information to Your Bank or the Merchant. Detailed information on the corresponding processing of data can be found in the Privacy Policy.
